Rebecca LaBombard is a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) through the Academy for Lactation Practice and Policy (2021) and holds a Master of Science in Education from The College of St. Rose (2008). With a passion for lactation support, advocacy, and community building, Rebecca has dedicated her career to empowering families and professionals in the field of human lactation.

Rebecca has extensive experience in corporate lactation program development, including designing and implementing lactation spaces across a college campus system. Her work ensured equitable access to comfortable, functional lactation rooms—complete with hospital-grade pumps, refrigeration, sinks, and storage solutions. In addition, she has facilitated support groups, led nursing parents' programs, and provides personalized 1:1 lactation consultations and offerings lactation classes prenatlly through weaning.
Beyond her professional credentials, Rebecca brings over a decade of personal breastfeeding experience, including pregnancy, tandem feeding, pumping, return-to-work, milk donation, and navigating through common and challenging lactation situations.
As the owner of The Milk Mentor and The Upstate Lactation Collective, Becky is committed to fostering community—not only for families but also for fellow lactation professionals. She believes in collaboration over competition and works to create inclusive, supportive spaces where education, advocacy, and care thrive.
