Dominique Jean Spagnola, CLC (she/her), is a trained birth and postpartum doula through DONA International and a board Certified Lactation Counselor. With a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Childcare Administration and Community and Human Services, Dominique has been providing lactation support and advocacy since 2019 and began her journey in birthwork in 2023. Dominique’s path into infant and mother care began with the opening of her New York State licensed in-home daycare. Witnessing the need for advocacy and support for pregnant and postpartum mothers inspired her transition into birthwork. Her personal experiences with the births of her two children further deepened her calling to this field. Dominique is dedicated to compassionate, holistic support for families, emphasizing the importance of emotional care, bodily autonomy, and comprehensive prenatal and postnatal care. Her approach incorporates nutrition, spirituality, psychology, family dynamics, and partner involvement, recognizing the profound significance of childbirth in a mother’s life.
