About Marina

My call to birth work started on my own journey to motherhood. I spent years before conceiving my first child researching and learning everything I could on conception, pregnancy and birth. After becoming a self proclaimed “birth nerd” and experiencing the births of my three children, I started supporting family, friends and soon after started supporting birth professionally in 2019. I have completed Childbirth Education training from the International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA),am a Certified Full Spectrum Doula (CD, DTI)  with Doula Trainings International and am a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) throughThe Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice.  In addition to my work as a birth doula, I teach childbirth education classes and provide comprehensive lactation support throughout the Capital Region and Central New York.
